Becoming a member
Why should I become a member of the Friends Of Caterham Dene Hospital?
Being a member of the Friends of the Dene is a positive way to help ensure the people of Caterham, Woldingham and Warlingham continue to have a local hospital, which they can access for the Minor Injuries Unit and out-patient clinics, where staff are dedicated, professional and offer a high level of care.
Having the hospital as we do in Caterham with all the facilities, equipment and services is a great bonus as minor injuries, X-rays, quick assessments, medical emergencies etc can be accessed quickly and professionally without the inconvenience or travel time to East Surrey or other hospitals. This has been achieved due to the efforts and support the Friends have given to the hospital over many years.
- Being a Friend enables people to give something back to the community.
- Being a member, a Warden or a Trustee gives opportunities to meet like-minded people.
- With the various fundraising activities we carry out throughout the year, it is also great fun and new friendships are formed.
You can become a Friend by completing the Membership form, the cost is a minimum of £10.00 a year, payable by standing order only. included in the membership is a biannual Newsletter with all the latest news from the Dene.
